코리아나미술관에서 8월 7일부터 진행 중인 단체전 《불안 해방 일지》에서는 이원우 작가의 대표작을 감상할 수 있습니다. 이번 전시에서는 이원우 작가가 일상에서 느끼는 다양한 감정과 경험을 특유의 유머와 위트로 풀어낸 7점의 작품이 전시됩니다.
이원우의 대표 시리즈인 《Air Words》는 다채로운 그라데이션이 펼쳐진 수퍼 미러 평면 위에 시적 문구들이 배치된 작품입니다. 관람자가 미러에 비친 자신을 바라보며 <YOUR BEAUTIFUL FUTURE>, <IN TERMS OF ROMANCE>, <EVENING AIR>와 같은 짧은 문구들과 상호작용함으로써, 각자가 지닌 순간의 기억과 감정이 다채롭고 흥미롭게 환기됩니다.
전시는 11월 23일까지. 전시 중 연계 아티스트 토크는 예약제로, 9월 28일(토) 오후 2시에 진행됩니다.
At the Koreana Museum of Art, since August 7, the group exhibition 𝘈𝘯𝘹𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 has been featuring key works by artist Wonwoo Lee. In this exhibition, seven of Lee's pieces are showcased, each reflecting the artist's signature wit and humor as he reinterprets everyday emotions and experiences.
Lee's Air Words series presents poetic phrases floating on the surface of a super-mirror plane, with vibrant gradient colors resembling an expansive sky. Visitors see their reflections merge with brief, evocative phrases like 𝘠𝘖𝘜𝘙 𝘉𝘌𝘈𝘜𝘛𝘐𝘍𝘜𝘓 𝘍𝘜𝘛𝘜𝘙𝘌, 𝘐𝘕 𝘛𝘌𝘙𝘔𝘚 𝘖𝘍 𝘙𝘖𝘔𝘈𝘕𝘊𝘌, and 𝘌𝘝𝘌𝘕𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘈𝘐𝘙, creating a dynamic and colorful reflection of personal memories and feelings.
