PKM 갤러리와 콘라드 피셔 갤러리는 «Bruce Nauman | Cody Choi»를 9월 2일부터 9월 9일까지 공동 개최합니다.
본 전시에서 브루스 나우만은 고대 이래 젊음과 신체적 활력을 대표해온 고전적 자세의 전통적인 이미지를 뒤집고 관람객에게 예측불가한 감정을 선사합니다. 코디 최는 1960년대 후반 나우만의 ‘신체 미술’에서 영향을 받은 조각, 사진, 네온 아트 등, 여러 매체를 넘나들며 몸을 매개체로써 강조하고 실험적인 퍼포먼스의 초기 작품을 통해 그에게 경의를 표합니다.

PKM Gallery and Konrad Fischer Galerie are pleased to present a collaborative exhibition 𝘉𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘦 𝘕𝘢𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 / 𝘊𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘊𝘩𝘰𝘪 from September 2nd to September 9th.
In this exhibition, Bruce Nauman seems intent in subverting the traditional image of this canonical pose that, ever since Antiquity, has been associated with youth and corporeal vigor, charging the work with an unexpected emotional quality.
Cody Choi presents his works influenced by the “body art” pioneered by Bruce Nauman in the late 1960s. Spanning across sculpture, photography, and neon-art, Choi focuses on the body as a medium and unveils its conditions through experimental performance, paying homage to Nauman.
